Doctors Leon French and Phillip Williams are the team of caring and knowledgeable dentist you will meet at the West End Family Dental Clinic. With a support staff of friendly professionals, they are committed to providing their patients with only the best in dental treatment.
Doctors French and Williams both grew up in Louisville. They first met in the 9th grade and instantly became friends. With the same aspirations, in 1977, they became the University of Louisville’s, School of Dentistry’s third and fourth African American graduates.
They began separate private practices soon after graduation. In 2004, Dr. French was diagnosed with cancer and closed his office to undergo cancer treatment.
Epitomizing true friendship and the ideal of family, Dr. Williams co-sponsored fundraisers to help with medical costs, and he also paid for the continuing education classes that were needed for Dr. French to keep his dental license. Dr. Williams has since invited Dr. French to join his practice and his team at West End Family Dental Clinic.
